CFA® Exam Preparation Courses

CfBS Center for Business Studies follows CFA Institute Prep Provider Guidelines.

For the June 2010 exams we are offering the following two course options:

bullet four-month weekday classes for all three levels and Saturday classes for levels I and II,
starting in January 2010

bullet six-day intensive review courses for all three levels, in March/April/May 2010

For the December 2010 exam we are offering the following two course options:

bullet four-month weekday class for level I, starting in August 2010
transparent transparent
bullet six-day intensive review course for level I in November 2010
transparent transparent

The courses teach the most complex and frequently asked concepts and help candidates to prepare effectively for the exam.

A presentation on our CFA courses and the CFA level I exam will be given on Tuesday, 22 June 2010 at 12.15 hrs. at the CfBS Training Center in Zurich. Please register by e-mail to info@cf-studies.ch.

Open Evening Sessions

CfBS offers open evening sessions for (potential) CFA candidates on the following dates:

CFA® Program

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) program is a globally recognized standard for professionals in the financial services industry. The CFA charter is awarded by the CFA Institute, based in Charlottesville, Virginia / USA. The first charter was presented in 1963 and more than 90,000 charters have been awarded since. Over 100,000 candidates worldwide participated in the 2009 exams.

To obtain the CFA charter, the CFA Institute has set different requirements. One is that candidates have to pass three exams, referred to as level I, level II, and level III. Candidates can take only one exam per year and are only admitted to take the next level exam after passing the previous level exam.
